Faith in the Marketplace

CAN I TRULY LIVE MY CHRISTIAN CALLING IN THE WORKPLACE

By Caroline Khosa There is a new kind of leader rising—one who carries both faith and influence.

For too long, many believers have

separated their spiritual lives from their professional ones. Church was for Sundays, and the marketplace was for survival. But that narrative is shifting. The truth is simple: the marketplace is a mission field.

Boardrooms, industries, and businesses are not separate from God’s purpose. They are spaces where decisions shape economies, create opportunities, and transform lives. And God is calling His people into those spaces— not just to participate, but to lead. Caroline Khosa embodies this calling.

A respected business leader in South Africa’s energy sector, her journey reflects what happens when faith meets leadership. From leading significant business growth to building new ventures, her path has been marked not just by strategy, but by conviction.

Yet her story is not only about corporate success—it is about obedience.

A prophetic word at Warrior Women Prayer Movement Johannesburg 3HRS prayer stretch by Pastor Judy Achero positioned her in an industry she had not imagined for herself. What followed required courage, prayer, and

decisive action. Because faith is not passive—it moves, builds, and leads.

Like the story in the Book of Esther, many women today are placed in positions of influence for such a time as this. They are executives, entrepreneurs, innovators— modern-day Esthers navigating complex environments with grace and strength.

In these spaces, values matter. Integrity becomes a witness. Excellence becomes worship (see Epistle to the Colossians 3:23). Leadership becomes service.

The marketplace does not need louder voices—it needs consistent, faith-filled presence. Women who will lead ethically. Build sustainably. Uplift others intentionally.

Caroline’s journey reminds us that success is not the end goal—impact is, and the real question is not whether God can use you where you are.

The question is: Will you allow Him to? Because when faith meets courage, and purpose meets action, you don’t just build a career—you fulfill a calling. WWM
