Walk IN SANDTON

August Women’s Month commemorates the over 20,000 women of all races and ages who marched together to the Union Buildings in Pretoria in 1956 to protest against the pass laws.

These brave women stood up and fought for the issues affecting them in their time. Now it's our turn, as Warrior Women, to rise and address the issues affecting us. Last August, we held a prayer walk in central Sandton. Our goal was to present our petitions to the highest authority—JESUS! We marched around the city, praying against issues such as rape, gender-based violence, alcohol and drug addiction, teenage pregnancy, and divorce, as we reclaim our nation for Jesus.

Jeremiah 1:10 NLT “Today I appoint you to stand up against nations and kingdoms. Some you must uproot and tear down, destroy and overthrow. Others you must build up and plant.”

There are spiritual powers present in different territories, and these spirits shape the behaviour patterns of the people who live there. These territorial spirits influence many individuals and families. Therefore, it is important to take dominion over territories and subdue these spiritual forces through prayer. Only then can we expect to see our businesses prosper, our children freed from evil influences, and our families protected, as we dislodge the forces that hinder us in our territories.

Sandton was our point of contact for all the places we inhabit. As we conducted the prayer walk, we dislodged territorial spirits, destroyed demonic altars, and raised an altar unto God in the city.

We stood at Johannesburg Stock Exchange ( JSE), the largest stock exchange in Africa, prayed for the economy of our nation, commanded the gates of wealth to open, destroyed the Altar of Mammon, and ultimately raised an altar for Jesus! We took Jesus to the streets and raised a banner for Jesus. There is surely a rise of Women of Prayer; it can never be the same again. WWM
